Air Canada wanted to create a project that showcased the reveal of their new 737 aircraft, which was funded by Air Canada and Boeing. This type of air-to-air footage is rarely captured behind the scenes, and we wanted to showcase the skilled individuals that make this happen.
Working in tight spaces, we coordinated a number of different vehicles at various locations. We used helicopters in tight spaces, capturing the plane on the tarmac and runway. We captured content both inside the 737 airplane, as well as in a jet within close proximity to the 737. We showcased the telescopic camera used to capture this type of air-to-air content, as well as the Shotover camera system.
This footage resulted in a compelling story with more than 1 million views.
